University Identification Cards

1. PURPOSE

2. POLICY

All identification cards (I.D. cards) are the property of Brigham Young University–Hawaii ("BYU–Hawaii" or "university") checked out to students, faculty, staff and their dependents. A limited number of special I.D. cards are distributed to various entities in the community and may also be revoked by the university at its discretion. No one should have more than one valid card at a time. Regardless of the date on the card, the card expires automatically when the individual no longer meets the requirements of enrollment, employment, or relationship under which the card was issued.

Different types of I.D. Cards allow different privileges, expiration periods, and costs. For an explanation of these privileges, see I.D. Card Benefits.
