Student Life is primarily responsible for setting requirements, guidelines and procedures for student organizations, and for training student leaders.

Under these guidelines, departments may sponsor student organizations relating to their specific stewardship as approved by their respective university vice president.

All student organizations must have an appropriate department sponsor, a faculty/staff advisor, and a written charter or constitution on file with Student Life to be recognized and receive campus privileges.

3. DEFINITIONS

Student organization-any student group officially organized and recognized by the university.
