On-campus Housing
Policy
To facilitate positive spiritual, academic, and social experiences, all single, full-time students admitted on or after the Winter 2026 Semester will be required to live in on-campus housing.
Implementation
1.1 Housing Eligibility
Students must be enrolled as full-time, degree-seeking (see Enrollment), to be eligible to live on-campus.
Single students are eligible to live in the Hales. Married students and single parent families are eligible to live in Temple View Apartments.
All housing is based on availability and is not guaranteed. There may be a waitlist.
1.2 Exceptions
1.2.1 Exceptions to Live Off-Campus
Students may apply for an exception if they wish to live off-campus. Exceptions may include living with immediate family members, or students who are 25 and older.
Students participating in IWORK or Hukilau are normally not eligible for exceptions to live off-campus.
1.2.2 Exceptions for Married Students to Live in the Hales
Exceptions for married students, living apart from their family, are normally not eligible for an exception to live in the hales.
1.2.3 Requesting Exceptions
Students wishing to request an exception should do so through the appeals process on the housing portal. Exceptions to this policy are rare.
