Lost and Found

1. PURPOSE

The purpose of the policy is to explain the process that Brigham Young University–Hawaii (“BYU–Hawaii” or “university”) follows for dealing with lost and found items.

2. POLICY

Any article lost on campus should be taken to the information desk. Information desk will maintain a log of the articles lost and unclaimed articles received.

3. IMPLEMENTATION

3.1 Vehicles

Abandoned vehicles, including but not limited to cars, trucks, bicycles, scooters, mopeds, disability mobility devices, etc. should be referred to Campus Safety. (See Road, Sidewalk, and Parking policy).

3.2 Other Lost and Found Locations

Other buildings and departments may maintain a temporary lost and found location but should coordinate with the information desk for items not claimed.
