Employees Working at the Temple

1. PURPOSE

This policy informs employees of Brigham Young University–Hawaii of the options provided for them if they choose to serve in the Laie Temple.

2. POLICY

Employees may render service during work hours at the Laie Hawaii Temple by following BYU–Hawaii procedures and with approval of their supervisor and Vice President.

3. IMPLEMENTATION

3.1 Definitions

Volunteer service – service that is non-compensable.
Laie Hawaii Temple – owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
