Brigham Young University–Hawaii ("university") complies with the law (HIPAA – Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) to protect the privacy of an individual’s health information. The university’s practice entails providing protection of the privacy of an individual’s health information and governing the way certain health care providers and benefit plans collect, maintain, use and disclose protected health information (“PHI”).
